Xenos-Force is a welcome addition to the Sci-Fi wargames market. It’s a fun game with a great cooperative play style, just what you need if you’re looking for that next challenge within your gaming group. Yes, having the players work together instead of battling it out one on one with each other, like so many other games systems, is a refreshing change. There is still a competitive edge as players can try to be the first reach objective and don’t forget clocking up the kill is an important part to gaining your XP. That’s right XP! Because Xenos-Force has a cool character development system and campaign element. But wait, the challenge doesn’t just end there as this game fantastically crosses the boundaries with RPGs and should you wish you can GM campaigns for your gaming group, which now adds the element of a games master controlled enemy. This is something I’ve done on quite a few occasions with this game and both the player and myself have had an amazing time.

So, if you want break away from those “Corporate” skirmish systems and try something new and exciting, give Xenos-Force a blast! It’s one of the best games I’ve played in 30 years of wargaming.
