As the product from a one man show this is amazingly impressive work. It looks good and reads great with some really fun ideas that plays well and pretty quickly too - I've been stuck too many times at the end of the night with an unresolved battle and a wife who's waiting up for me.... I've missed the 15mm bandwagon and am stuck with all my 28mm stuff but with a few mods (range, cohesion etc) the game still fits my table. The point system is fun - who doesn't enjoy tweeking their force, I'm no GW junkie but it helps to balance scenario design if you have some idea as to the force composure. I've got Tomorrow's War, of course, but there's more energy and passion in this product that carries brilliantly to the table. Well done, really well done.

What a great game, I've been looking for a system like this for such a long time!

I've read and played almost all the fantasy/historical skirmish games out there and nothing has the subtlety, lightness and flexibility of this system. It's quite brilliant in many respects.

A little previous experience of wargames helps to get your head around the game concepts. The point sytem calculations for creating the stats for the figs is pretty straight forward to use (and it comes with a dozen army lists if you don't have the time to create your own or want to play it straight out of the box) but it's so worth it to be able to field any figure you have, even the most odd and dusty creature in the bottom of your miniatures box.

It's so flexible that I've heard that there are mods to turn it into modern or sci-fi without much dificulty. And I can see how easy that would be with such a smooth, intuitive and generic system, my mind is already running ahead and thinking how to adapt it myself.

Anyway, it gets my double thumbs up - I just hope they can add some other material for the game soon as I like their style!

cheers, John
