Overall this is a good model. However, the size of the vehicle raises a few questions. 'For 28mm figures the tank would be about 30 feet wide. Way to big to drive alon most roads or cross any bridges. A 20 foot width would alos make it extremely dificult to transport by rail. Also the location of the driver is not in keeping with modern tank design and creates a weak point in the front armor protection. There is also a slot in the lower right side fo the front glacis, which is probably for a hull machinegun. Again this is another weak point in the armor. Hull machineguns no longer being in use. Fortunately I have a graphics program that allows me to alter the images. After some adjustments I have reduced it to 15 feet wide which is just a bit wider than the 12 feet of most current day tanks while keeping it at the same length which is close to present day tanks. After making all the size adjustments all the parts except the tracks fit onto two pages. The sdjustment to the traccks allows four of them to fit on one page.

I love this thing. Yes it has treads, but if you don't build them and substitute 4 to 6 stands from the Finger and Toe Air Cav units, you can have a hover tank ala Hammer's Slammers. This is perfect for the big Heavy Hero in your SciFi games. Did I say I love this thing?

I real;ly like this tank. It prints out great - all pieces fit as they are supposed to. The fender pieces have extra tabs but it is not hard to figure out which ones to remove. Also the pictures show a fuel tank that can be added to tank but none is provided to print out. Those two faults are minor. This is a wonderful size for 28mm figures, many other companies tanks are small compared to 28mm. This tank looks great when put together. I used a metal plate in the turret ring and a small magnet in the gun box so that my turret turns and can be removed for storage and to show destruction. I place smoke and flames on the turret ring for better display when tank is destroyed. I am looking forward to getting the tank destroyer add-on now.

Another beautifully detailed but easy to build model from Glenn Williams at Finger and Toe. If your SF gaming tends towards Hammer's Slammers, this is the supertank for you. Easy to build with a choice of add-ons, turning it into a very potent piece of hardware. At an impressive 6inches by 7, it's big but not unmanageable. APC and tank variants are possible with basic kit. Bel's Kitty is excellent value for money and comes in four useful colour schemes. In common with other Finger and Toe models, gaming notes and an optional back story are part of the easy to follow instructions. If all this does not tempt you, a low priced upgrade is available to convert your KV-12 into an Assault Gun.
