If you’re familiar with other sets in this series, you’ll find here the usual assortment of layout patterns, this time done in stone for dungeon passages and chambers. What makes this set more fun and interesting is the way Zoltán has included multiple tiles that are duplicates of each other with various degrees of lighting. I’m not sure why this set is billed as an expansion for Ground Set #7, though. Ground Set #7 featured underground passageways with floors made of rough stone; this one features floors with a tiled look. You can’t really use this set to “expand” Set #7.

I've been looking for a set of 2d dungeon tiles for a while and I was impressed by the quality of the graphics of this set. The stone floors contain a lot of detail and I liked how the flaming torches lit up the room. There are plenty of floor plans in this set with different variations to the lighting source. This adds some variety to the dungeon tiles. There was one minor complaint I had and that was borders beyond the dungeon walls; it was a bit blurred and it wasn't as detailed as the stone tile graphics. Overall this is a fantastic product and I hope to see more graphics from the author.

I have the same problem with these as with the original cave set. the pieces aren't scaled correctly despite the fact that the set states they are scaled correctly. When I go to print them out it states that the images are 21x15. I'm not sure if I just shrink them down they'll be perfectly square. I would find a product that's scaled correctly unless you like mucking about in photoshop.

The images are pretty though.
