Make no mistake: this is a light game, but that's exactly what I was looking for when I picked it up. It was quick to learn, and I had a ton of fun soloing it. My 7-year-old stumbled upon me playing and wanted to know what I was up to. I was able to teach her the basic rules, and she was quickly playing along and enjoying the game, too (we sometimes play Wings of Glory together on my tablet).
Many air combat games focus on excruciating detail, but it was nice for me to find one that comes down on the side of simplicity. I can see myself creating new scenarios, and maybe tinkering with the rules in the future, maybe doing some quick and dirty dogfighting with minis.
