First, I should declare that I was a proof-reader of the rules.
With that out of the way, I reckon these are a very nice set of rules to create "legendary tales of high adventure". They'll allow your hero to cut a swathe of mayhem across the table, creating a chronicle of their exploits
As the description says, they are simple, but there is certainly enough there to keep you engaged and making difficult/interesting tactical choices
Also, given the format and style - most enemies will be sword-fodder to a hero - they are eminently suitable for solo play.
TL;DR - great fun, ideal for solo play; thoroughly recommended
