A highly entertaining read which really gets you in the mood to play Pulp games. Chock full of good ideas and plenty of period chrome. As a game designer, the game mechanics are definitely old school and seem a bit clunky to me, which is what prevents me from giving this 5 stars. You really need a Game Master to run this who has a great grasp of the rules and is good at improvising during the twists and turns of game play. In that regard, this is really a light-RPG in the Pulp genre rather than a traditional wargame. For the price, it's a no-brainer to add this to your shelf of wargame rulebooks, as the ideas contained within it will inspire and supplement your Pulp games even if you don't actually play the game system as designed.
