I definitely regret this purchase. The flavour promoted is minimal and every action requires a lot of math. I don't want to do an equation for every arquebus shot! Overdesigned!

Some clever ideas that add nice historical chrome, but the Father Tilly rules overall are not terribly well written or organized, and I found the many ambiguities and omissions quite annoying, as is the "bucket of dice" combat system. I'm afraid I cannot recommend these rules to anyone interested in musket-and-pike warfare. There are free rules sets available online that are far more complete and well thought out.

Really great imagination. Liked the "nasty neighbors". I wish there would have been a scenario generator for them so there were an easier way to integrate them into an extended campaign.

Very imaginative set of missions/scenarios. Price could be a bit lower for what you get. If there were additional survivor types or a scenario generator this might be worth 5 USD. As for now I'd recommend a drop in price to somewhere in the 3 USD range.

I really love the feel of this game. If there was ever a war in need of a Zombie plague it was the 30 Years War. Now it has it.

Whether you just want a change of pace from your regular Pike and Shotte games or you are looking for a system with a few more zombies...this is it.

The rules can be a bit confusing for tabletop neophytes. Combat/Melee rules seem to be simultaneous but all actions are also governed by "actions". Examples of Shooting rules and Combat rules that follow the whole sequence of play would make the game a lot easier to understand.

This set of rules, mainly for the Great Italian Wars, has lots of period-specific flavour and some very interesting cards and game aids to add even more flavour. On the down side it relies on figure numbers and figure removal and some of the rules turn certain aspects, eg. morale calculation, into a mental maths exercise. I think I am more likely to play Warlord Games' Pike and Shotte for a relaxing entertainment using my early Renaissance collection.

An easy fun and fastplay ruleset. Conquistadores, ECW THW all can combat there against the unless zombies hordes. Because remember, with zombies all is better
