I'm rewriting my review, because I feel that I wasn't fair in my inital assessment. I now have a Bambu Lab A1, with a 0.2mm nozzle, and the models come out nicely with one caveat: I had a couple curling on the bulid plate. That's my fault, though, and adding a brim helped with that. The sails came out fine, as well. i can definitely recommend the models. If I have an issue with them now it's that I wish there were more ship designs!

This item addresses doctors and their staff, not medics who performed front-line combat life-keeping actions. Let's address the role of the combat medic and not the doctors and nursing staff who were usually located behind friendly lines. Medics sustained life until the wounded soldier could be taken to the rear where the doctors and nurses performed surgery. It wasn't until the Korean War that US and UN forces had front-line surgical units as "combat surgery" became a proven method for saving soldiers' lives. Use the medic to save the soldier's life. The methodology adds two more levels of complexity to the combat rules.

I like that it is a component in building a larger world. The maps are good, and the Plebian newspaper is a nice touch. The notes written by people lamenting their oncoming curse add flavor.
However, the English grammar is poor in many areas. I understand it is probably a translation, but more proofreading is needed.

Excelent set - A fine addition to the other Moonbase sets, with items useful for both military and factory facilituies to make a variety of bases possible for your scenarios; Fine filamnet settings produced good prints with superb deatila and a good finish. I woudl reccomend doing the bulk in filamnt and the tops with finer deatils like radar dishse, etc, in resin if you can, though a full filament print is fairly good as well.

Excellent set- needed to do the gantry frmae in resin and the rest in filament for cost saving, and all came out very sharp and with great detail. The structures are excellent and well designed, and a nice addition to the main base structures. The shuttle is a lovely touch and a nice reference for those of us of a certain age.

Excellent set- the files loaded quickly and with a fine filament setting they comes out sharp and detailed. The sculpts are nice, and make for an excellent little structure, suitable for any airless world or planetoid such as the Moon, and well worth fighting over in your game.

I really like the Normandy Houses. I printed at 1/100 scale and they printed quickly and without problem. I did not use a brim or raft. I use a Prusa Mini+ on standard settings.
These houses look great painted. Print several of them and you have a background village for your next wargame. The roof does not come off, and they are only detailed on the front side. It amazed me how big my WW1 Landships are!

Nice set of ruined buildings.
Loses a star for scaling issues- they are sold as 100%=15mm scale, but that's clearly not the case- a 15mm miniature would bang his head walking into the factory, which obviously shouldn't be the case. Would probably be ideal for 10mm, and useable for 6mm, or scale to 144% for real 15mm miniatures.
Good value for money, despite this.

For 6 bucks, you get a decent selection of buildings that are pretty easy to scale up to 28mm and hollow out for Bolt Action. Considering that this is dirt cheap for files, and waaaaay less than you'd pay for full prints or MDF buildings, this package is kind of a steal. Solid construction makes modification super easy, and no repairs needed on any of the designs to make them work on the larger scale.
And seriously, thank god there's something out there for the Eastern Front that is NOT Stalingrad. I know it's iconic, but man, finding rural Russian stuff is super difficult for some reason!

These are fantastically designed pieces that printed well and with a minimum of fuss.
My one issue is that the default scale is not 1/100 as claimed, and I had to scale it up to look right vs Flames of War and Plastic Soldier Company units and vehicles.

Michael,
Thanks for your review and comments. I´ll design based in some 1/100 minis here. I´ll take a look at FOW minis for some clarifications. Thanks a lot! |
