SLAM-15

Welcome to SLAM-15.

A set of science fiction miniatures rules optimised for 15mm figures, though usable in other scales as well.

Features include:

Individually based figures operating in squads (the most common way 15mm players organise their troops.

Easy to use multiple vehicles on the table.

Rules are designed to reduce fiddly features and allow you to easily command 5+ units on each side. 

Alternating activations (with bonus activations from commanders), suppression and reaction fire.

Points system with a number of unit profiles and weapons (and more to come after the alpha test is concluded).

Ideally suited for pick up play at a store, club or at the kitchen table.

The rules are set up to have a tactical feel, in keeping with the style of most 15mm figures on the market (tending towards hard scifi with some space opera). 

It is my hope that these rules will help give the 15mm scifi community a rallying point and that over time, the rules can be supported by "ready to use" stats for popular figure ranges in those scales.

This release is an Alpha version, allowing players to get a look at the rules and try them out at their table. Feedback will be incorporated into the full game. Anyone buying the alpha version will receive a discount off the full version so you are not risking anything. 

Note that these rules are aimed at larger figure counts and pick up games with a semi-hard scifi vibe. Players who prefer a more hero driven space fantasy vibe should pick up Mystic Space instead. Players with an interest in more GM driven scenario play should consider Five Parsecs Tactics.
