I cannot figure out two things.
1. COMBAT MODIFIERS: Can modifiers reduce your effective combat score to 0 and then into the negatives? (ie surrounded + one or two other combat penalties)

2. TURN SEQUENCE : When you say, roll 3 activation dice and fail on all three rolls, that unit can then no longer attempt to activate until the start of the next turn after all units on both sides have had a chance to activate and either failed or succeeded their rolls, right? Also, if you have those two fails and control goes to your opponent, he/she can only try and activate units that your opponent has not already tried to activate yet, unless all units have tried to activate and it is the start of a fresh turn, right?

1. COMBAT MODIFIERS: It's not written in the rules. So I'd say yes, they can go in the negatives.

2. TURN SEQUENCE: If you roll 2 failures on activation, the turn passes to the opponent after your unit finished it's turn. On 3 activations dice and 3 failures, your unit can't make a move, so it's your opponent's turn immediately. Whenever it's your turn, you can try to activate any of your units in any order you please. This also true for your opponent and there units.

Ever mind I found it on wargame vault, but for some reason it doesn't show up on dtrpg that may be a setting issue in the product settings.

I'm really interested in this game. I can also see that a lot of expansions exists. Could you please tell me if the revised edition work well with the expansions ? Also, if it's the case, which expansion(s) are really great for this game ? Thank you !

this game is excellent! easy to play, inexpensive, and you can use ANY fantasy minis that you have on hand. I bought Magic the Gathering board games for dirt cheap, and now have a ton of great minis to use along with my D&D minis. they can all be plugged into this ruleset.

What do I need to buy in order to get descriptions of ALL the Special Rules traits? There are several listed in SoBG, but not all have a detailed description.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
