A scenario to use with the Battle Fortress rulebook
The Battle of Mon Mons, 1914, marked the first engagement between British and German forces on the Western Front.
The British forces (British Expeditionary Force or BEF) were made up of some 80,000 professional soldiers and were led by Sir John French. The BEF was probably the best trained and most experienced of the European armies in 1914.
